Tonight the band celebrate their new single, with support from contemporary New Orleans-inspired duo Strum & Blow!
Born from migrational nostalgia in North London, headliners Imperio Bamba create a ritual for liberating the body from the sense of distance, pushing for togetherness. At the band’s heart are its leading duo Jules Drade (Perú) and Javiera Limarí (Chile), collaborating with Titi Damasso and Mariel Cámara (Argentina). They have released an EP and a critically acclaimed video of the classic ‘My Favourite Things’, and tonight celebrate their new single.
Support on the night comes from Strum and Blow, the contemporary New Orleans-inspired duo of Louise Balkwill and George Simmonds, delivering tight vocal harmonies and blistering trombone and vocal solos over classic New Orleans jazz and blues songs!
